Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This policy outlines the acceptable use of the EsperWorks platform. It exists to protect our users, maintain service quality, and ensure the platform is used for legitimate business purposes. All users must comply with this policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use EsperWorks to:
- Issue fraudulent invoices or falsify financial documents
- Misrepresent your identity, business, or relationships with clients
- Launder money or facilitate any form of financial crime
- Send invoices or contracts for goods or services that are illegal under applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse clients or other users through the platform
- Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages
- Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the platform or its infrastructure
3. Payment Integrity
The payment features of EsperWorks, powered by Paystack, must be used in good faith. You may not:
- Process payments for fictitious transactions
- Use payment features to circumvent financial regulations
- Issue refunds or credits for the purpose of extracting funds improperly
- Misuse the payment system to process funds unrelated to invoiced services
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members you have invited. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, notify us immediately at security@tryesperworks.com.
5. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- A warning with a request to correct the behaviour
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law
We will always attempt to contact you before taking action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect other users or comply with legal obligations.
6. Reporting Abuse
If you believe another user is violating this policy, or if you encounter suspicious activity on the platform, please report it to abuse@tryesperworks.com. All reports are reviewed confidentially.
